Hello! I'd like to introduce myself as the new principal of Young Women's College Prep Charter School. I consider it a great privilege to have been asked to lead the school at this exciting time in its history, and I'm very much looking forward to working closely with you.

I am an experienced educator and administrator, having previously worked as the Principal at Northwest Jr. High at Douglass. Prior to that, I served as the Principal of Avon High School, Assistant Principal at Irondequoit High School, and taught Social Studies in Irondequoit and Geneseo.

I earned my Master of Education from Roberts Wesleyan College, completing an Honors Project on Authentic Assessment, and have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies Education from SUNY Buffalo. Additionally, I received a New York State School District Administrator Certificate from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Leadership Academy.

Already I have had so many positive interactions with the students, parents and faculty, and from these conversations, it's clear that there is a true partnership between all stakeholders to provide the best possible academic experience for our students. I look forward to fostering these relationships and working with the faculty to provide a world-class experience for each child.

As the principal of YWCP, it is my duty to build upon the foundation and pursuit of excellence that has preceded me. It is essential that our young women receive an education that positions them competitively for college and careers.
